HORSHAM, PA, March 6, 2019 —Kreischer Miller, a leading independent accounting, tax, and business advisory firm serving the Greater Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley areas, today announced that it has been selected as a Top Workplace for 2019 by The Philadelphia Inquirer. This marks the third time the firm has been named a Top Workplace by the publication.
The Top Workplaces are determined solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measured several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection.
“We are very proud to once again have been selected as a Top Workplace, especially since the honor is based entirely on feedback from our team members,” said Christopher F. Meshginpoosh, Kreischer Miller’s managing director. “We invest a great deal in creating an environment where our team members feel they have the tools, support, and flexibility they need to thrive and grow, personally and professionally. Research has shown that happy and engaged employees are also more motivated to provide excellent client service and make meaningful contributions to their companies.”
As one of Kreischer Miller’s team members noted in the survey, “I’ve grown so much as a person during my time at Kreischer Miller and that is directly related to the investments they have made in me. I really feel valued and one of the team.” Another team member said, “I am able to do challenging work and grow professionally, but I’m always allowed to keep my priorities in line and my life balanced. My career is hugely important, and Kreischer Miller never asks me to put the firm ahead of my family.”
When asked to complete the statement “I love my job because…” one team member echoed the sentiment of many other commenters by saying, “I feel that the work I do adds value. I have flexibility that allows me to maintain a work/life balance and I am included in company-wide decision-making.”
“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage, LLC. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”
The complete list of Top Workplaces was published in The Philadelphia Inquirer on Tuesday, March 5. For more information about the Top Workplaces lists, visit www.topworkplaces.com.
