Kreischer Miller, a leading independent advisory, audit and accounting, and tax firm serving the Greater Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley areas, today announced that it has ranked as the #1 mid-size employer, and the top ranked public accounting firm, on The Philadelphia Inquirer’s Top Workplaces list for 2023. Fifty-two mid-size employers were named a Top Workplace, as part of 171 companies of all sizes that were named to the list.
The firm also received a special award for being the company with the highest survey score in the Values category, for the degree to which employees agreed with the statement that, “this company operates by strong values.”
This marks the third time Kreischer Miller has been ranked the #1 mid-size employer by Top Workplaces. It also topped the list in 2021 and 2019.
While the list of companies that were named a Top Workplace was announced earlier this year, where each of those companies ranked on the list was announced in the Sunday, August 20 edition of The Inquirer.

The Top Workplaces are determined solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage, LLC. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, execution, and connection. For 2023, 4,917 organizations were invited to survey their employees, and 171 earned recognition as Top Workplaces.
