Carl is a Manager in Kreischer Miller's Tax Strategies group. Carl has over 30 years of experience serving middle market and large publicly held businesses in the professional services, manufacturing, and distribution industries. He specializes in providing tax planning, consulting, and compliance services to large corporations, multi-state companies, partnerships, and S-Corporations. He also specializes in preparing and reviewing ASC 740 income tax provisions.
Background
Prior to joining Kreischer Miller, Carl spent 20 years in Big 4 public accounting firms including 13 years at Ernst & Young. As a Senior Tax Manager in the Tax Operations Group at Ernst & Young, Carl was responsible for the coordination of the tax compliance process on several large consolidated corporate engagements. He served a variety of businesses ranging from high-growth companies in the entrepreneurial marketplace to privately-held and publicly-held middle market retail, distribution and manufacturing companies. Carl also has experience in corporate mergers and acquisitions, state and local tax planning, tax accounting and compliance issues. Carl was the Mid-Atlantic Area State and Local Tax Compliance Leader. His responsibilities included managing and staffing large client engagements and training and developing Tax Department staff.
