Michael is a Manager in Kreischer Miller’s Small Business Advisory group. He works closely with entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses, and emerging companies, building long-term relationships and helping them navigate the complexities of growth, succession planning, and operational efficiency with proactive solutions and a deep understanding of the unique challenges facing small business owners.
Michael specializes in advising small businesses across a diverse range of industries, offering comprehensive guidance tailored to each client’s specific needs. His expertise includes reviewed and compiled financial statements, ensuring clients receive accurate and insightful financial reporting. He is also highly experienced in tax planning and preparation, helping businesses, individuals, trusts, and estates achieve both compliance and strategic tax advantages.
In addition, Michael provides support with mergers and acquisitions, supporting clients through company purchases and sales, assisting with financial due diligence, and advising on transaction structure and tax implications.
Background
Michael joined Kreischer Miller in 2012, initially contributing to the firm’s Tax Strategies practice where he supported tax compliance and strategic planning across business, individual, trust, and gift tax matters. In 2015, he transitioned to the Small Business Advisory group, integrating his tax expertise with advisory services tailored to privately held companies.
