Zang was named a 2018 Young Leader Award recipient by the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
The PICPA’s Young Leader Awards recognize members under the age of 40 who demonstrate a commitment to the accounting profession through active PICPA or community volunteer leadership. They are considered to be representative of the future of the accounting profession and the PICPA.
Vanessa Zang is a director in Kreischer Miller’s Audit & Accounting practice, where she has a wide range of experience providing audit and advisory services to a variety of privately-held companies in the distribution, media, professional services, and retail industries. She specializes in employee benefit plan audits and has extensive experience with defined contribution and defined benefit plans, ESOPs, and health and welfare plans. Vanessa also assists in Kreischer Miller's Quality Control function to ensure that employee benefit plan engagements comply with professional standards. In addition, she is the chairperson of PICPA's Accounting & Auditing Procedures Committee and co-chair of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter Accounting and Auditing Committee.
