AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials) has recently released its 2012 Uniform Audit & Accounting Guide. This guide can be used as a tool for architectural and engineering consulting firms performing work for State DOTs. The 2012 edition incorporates several updates, refinements, and clarifications necessary to reflect changes in the statutory and regulatory framework applicable to A/E contracts that have occurred since the 2010 edition.
