Areas of Specialization
Liz is the lead Audit Technology Specialist and a Manager in Kreischer Miller's Audit & Accounting group. Liz leads Kreischer Miller’s Audit & Accounting IT Committee, which helps identify and create efficiencies in the audit, tax, and advisory practices by exploring the latest technological developments in the workplace and applying them to our client engagements. This includes researching new software and leading the implementation and rollout of these new technologies. In addition, Liz is responsible for streamlining, standardizing, and maintaining some of the firm’s internal processes, including automation of the firm’s quality control and financial statement processes, invoicing, and the preparation of engagement letters, as well as helping with internal firm analytics. Liz uses her extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visual Basic, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Query, and other applications when streamlining these processes.
Liz also plays a key role in staff development and training at Kreischer Miller, including instructing on technical skills, best practices, and project management. She has also conducted external Excel training classes for both the PICPA and on college campuses. Additionally, Liz is a member of the firm’s Employee Benefit Plans group as well as the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Council, and externally, is a member of the PICPA Digital Accelerator Task Force.
Background
Liz joined Kreischer Miller in 2013, after working for a regional accounting firm for two years.
