Last week, we proudly announced that Kreischer Miller has been selected as a Top Workplace for 2019 by The Philadelphia Inquirer. This marks the third time we’ve been named a Top Workplace by the publication, and we’d like to extend a big thank you to all of our team members who make Kreischer Miller a great place to work!

Our managing director Chris Meshginpoosh said, “We are very proud to once again have been selected as a Top Workplace, especially since the honor is based entirely on feedback from our team members. We invest a great deal in creating an environment where our team members feel they have the tools, support, and flexibility they need to thrive and grow, personally and professionally. Research has shown that happy and engaged employees are also more motivated to provide excellent client service and make meaningful contributions to their companies.”

The Top Workplaces are determined solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey. One of our team members noted in the survey, “I’ve grown so much as a person during my time at Kreischer Miller and that is directly related to the investments they have made in me. I really feel valued and one of the team.” Another team member said, “I am able to do challenging work and grow professionally, but I’m always allowed to keep my priorities in line and my life balanced. My career is hugely important, and Kreischer Miller never asks me to put the firm ahead of my family.”

When asked to complete the statement “I love my job because…” one team member echoed the sentiment of many other commenters by saying, “I feel that the work I do adds value. I have flexibility that allows me to maintain a work/life balance and I am included in company-wide decision-making.”

Kreischer Miller continuously strives to provide an environment where our team members feel like they have the opportunity to do their best work and make meaningful contributions to our firm. To kick off 2019, we recently announced a few exciting initiatives that we believe contribute to the reason we are a Top Workplace. For example, last month we announced our Employee Work-life Integration Programs, which are designed to help our team members balance their work and life goals.

We also recently launched RISE (Retain | Invest | Support | Empower), a network that provides opportunities for women in the firm to connect as a team, learn from one another, and grow their careers.

Lastly, we’re honored to have been selected as a co-sponsor of the AICPA’s Private Companies Practice Section George Willie Ethnically Diverse Student Scholarship & Internship Program. This program connects PCPS member firms with promising accounting majors of ethnically diverse backgrounds for an internship during the 2020 tax busy season.

We’re eager to see what more 2019 has in store for us. Again, thank you to all of our talented and dedicated team members – you’re what makes Kreischer Miller a Top Workplace!
