Manager - Tax Strategies

 

Kreischer Miller, voted One of the Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania for the past four years, continues to prosper and grow.  As a public accounting firm with approximately 150 team members located in Horsham, PA, we are currently seeking to add talented professionals to our outstanding team, including hiring a Manager to join our Tax Strategies Team.

Tax Managers are responsible for:

• Efficient, accurate, complete, and timely preparation of all clients’ tax returns.
• Applying advanced technical skills in a variety of tax and accounting areas.
• Growing our client base – developing new business opportunities.

Position Requirements: 

• Delegate and manage tax research projects to achieve an accurate and efficient product,
• Serve as a resource for tax staff, seniors, and A&A staff on specific tax issues and/or questions,
• Ability to develop, train, and schedule staff,
• Develop and maintain positive client work relationships, as well as be able to maintain associations to develop new business for the firm,
• Be client service oriented, have excellent decision making ability, and demonstrate good leadership skills, and
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

 Education and/or Prior Work Experience Requirements:

• BS in Accounting or equivalent,
• Minimum seven years in public accounting, demonstrating proven progression in tax return complexity, scope, and research,
• Some experience representing clients before tax authorities helpful,
• Must have applicable state CPA license, and
• Proficiency in use of computers and computer tax preparation, tax research, and tax planning software programs.
