Manager - Audit & Accounting (Investment Industry Team)

 

Kreischer Miller, voted One of the Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania for the past four years, continues to prosper and grow.  As a public accounting firm with approximately 150 team members located in Horsham, PA, we are currently seeking to add talented professionals to our outstanding team, including a Manager to join our Investment Industry Group within the Audit and Accounting Department.

The firm’s Investment Industry Group offers three broad areas of support to Investment Managers and Institutional Investors through its fully dedicated, diverse base of professionals:

• Compliance and Consulting needs of Investment Managers, including typical audit and tax related services,
• GIPS Compliant Performance Presentations of Investment Managers,
• Business Risk Assessments (Due Diligence Reviews) through uniquely structured products that target the key internal controls of Investment Managers, which are of paramount importance to Institutional Investors.

This position will fill a key role as the firm responds to the dynamic market opportunities available to its Investment Industry practice.

Position Requirements: 

• Willingness to learn various aspects of the investment industry and the services Kreischer Miller provides to this industry - no prior investment industry experience is required as Kreischer Miller will provide the industry training necessary for an audit and accounting manager to be effective in our Investment Industry Group,
• Ability to manage multiple auditing and accounting projects and client engagements simultaneously,
• Ability to develop staff and build teams,
• Excellent client service orientation, decision making ability, and developed leadership skills,
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, and
• The desire for the following:  To make a difference, to continue learning, and to have fun.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Minimum six years in public accounting, demonstrating proven progression in complexity, scope, and number of engagements managed,
• Applicable state CPA license, and
• Possess strong computer technology skills
