Thomas A. Peters, CPA, CIPM

Thomas A. Peters is a Director with Kreischer Miller who has experience on audits, GIPS verifications and examinations, financial projections, and consulting for various types of businesses, and has extensive experience with investment management companies, investment companies, institutional investors, and broker dealers. In the investment area, Tom's experience has included:

Assisting institutional investors assess the business risk inherent in their investment managers’ operations
Helping clients maintain GIPS compliance while presenting their performance in the best light possible
Directing the process of creating internal performance measurement systems to achieve client goals
Developing performance attribution models to break down performance by segment
Assisting with hiring personnel
Developing compensation methodologies
Creating financial models in connection with acquisitions/mergers

Tom joined the firm in 1991 upon graduating from Bloomsburg University. During his undergraduate studies he studied at the University of Salzburg (Austria). He completed his MBA at LaSalle University.

Tom is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and the PICPA Audit and Accounting Services Committee.

Tom enjoys composing music for piano and keyboards, home improvement projects, and reading.
